The Lincoln Legacy: Presidential Years
August 25 - December 17, 2006

Interest in Abraham Lincoln continues, and his legacy as president reverberates
still. The Lincoln Legacy: Presidential Years underscores our nation's
continuing discourse and reflection upon the president's actions and decisions
and their continued impact on our society.
The Lincoln Legacy: Presidential Years will feature autographed manuscripts
as well as significant historic artifacts relating to the presidency of
Abraham Lincoln. The Bernard Hall, M.D., Abraham Lincoln Collection at
the University of Saint Mary (Leavenworth, Kan.) will be supplemented
by papers in the Sir John Craig Manuscript Collection at the University
of Saint Mary as well as by a private collection of presidential campaign
memorabilia in the possession of a Saint Louis University benefactor.
The Lincoln Legacy: Presidential Years is presented by the Historic
Samuel Cupples House and will be exhibited in the Judith and Adam
Aronson Gallery at the Saint Louis University Museum of Art. Click
